Scope of the website
This website is an institutional showcase. It does not conclude contracts online, does not sell products or services via e-commerce, does not manage user accounts and does not send newsletters or marketing communications.
Categories of data processed
We process only: (1) data you voluntarily provide via the contact form or by email (name, email, optional organisation, service of interest, subject and project description); (2) technical data needed for security and operation (IP address in pseudonymised form for rate limiting and anti-spam controls); (3) technical preferences in the browser (light/dark theme and language preference); (4) technical session data needed for CSRF protection of the form. Please do not include particularly sensitive data in the message unless they are necessary for the request.
Purposes
Data are processed to: receive and manage requests; reply; assess a possible project; arrange a meeting; prepare a quote; ensure the website’s security and operation; prevent abuse and automated submissions.
Legal basis
For requests relating to services, projects, quotes or meetings, the legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract at the data subject’s request. For security, abuse prevention and technical operation, the legal basis is Unity Innovate’s legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website. The form checkbox only confirms that you have read the privacy notice and is not consent to processing or marketing consent.
Provision of data
Required fields are necessary to handle the request. Without them it is not possible to send or manage the communication. Optional fields (for example organisation) may be omitted.
Recipients
Data may be accessed by persons authorised by Unity Innovate and by Aruba S.p.A., hosting and email provider, within the limits of the services used. Data may be disclosed to authorities when required by law. Contact-form requests are not shared automatically with freelancers or third-party partners.
Retention
Request data are retained for as long as needed to manage the communication and any pre-contractual steps; they are then deleted when no longer necessary, unless a legal obligation or the need to establish, exercise or defend a right applies. Messages remain in the mailbox contact@weareunityinnovate.com until deleted. Security technical data are retained for the time needed to prevent abuse according to the hosting configuration. Browser preferences remain until changed or deleted by the user.
Data subject rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, objection by writing to contact@weareunityinnovate.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante). No profiling is carried out, no automated decisions are made, no newsletters are sent, data are not used for marketing and are not sold.
